T-Hub partners with JETRO to support startup expansion between India and Japan

HYDERABAD: T-Hub has entered into a strategic partnership with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) to strengthen collaboration between the startup ecosystems of India and Japan.

Under the partnership, T-Hub will serve as a comprehensive access platform for Japanese startups, corporates and investors seeking to enter and expand in the Indian market. The initiative will also support Indian startups looking for structured expansion pathways into Japan.

Partnership targets high-growth technology sectors

The collaboration will focus on sectors such as pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, space and aerospace, defence, mobility, smart infrastructure, deep technology, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 will also be key areas of engagement, including technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing.

Programmes to promote innovation and investment

As part of the partnership, the two organisations will launch curated startup exchange programmes and corporate open-innovation engagements.

Other initiatives include market access support, regulatory guidance, ecosystem immersion programmes and investor connect platforms to facilitate cross-border collaboration between startups, corporates and investors.
