HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has written to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, urging him to cancel the e-auction tenders for mining blocks in Suryapet district. He alleged serious irregularities in the process.

The complaint concerns mining blocks at Pasupulabodu, Saidulnama and Sultanpur in Suryapet district. KTR alleged major procedural lapses and statutory violations in the e-auction process.

In his letter, KTR claimed that the auction includes nearly 1,100 acres of Reserved Forest land. He said officials failed to make mandatory disclosures required under the law.

KTR alleged that authorities did not disclose key details. These include Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) demarcation data, precise geo-coordinates, forest compartment details and geological reports.

He also questioned the selection of successful bidders. He raised concerns about their background and the overall transparency of the process.

KTR urged the State government to immediately suspend the e-auction. He also demanded cancellation of the tender process and called for an independent investigation.
