Suriya’s next with Venky Atluri titled Vishwanath & Sons, first look unveiled
HYDERABAD: The wait for fans of Suriya is finally over. The makers of his much-anticipated 46th film, previously referred to as Suriya46, have officially unveiled the title and first look. The film has been named Vishwanath & Sons, and as the name suggests, it is set to be a heartwarming, quintessential family drama.
Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi announced the film on social media, sharing a first-look poster featuring Suriya in a vintage style, embracing a child. The imagery suggests a nostalgic return to emotionally rich roles.
Directed by Venky Atluri, who is on a winning streak with back-to-back successes like the pan-Indian hit Lucky Baskhar and the Tamil-Telugu bilingual SIR / Vaathi, Vishwanath & Sons is touted as one of the biggest family drama spectacles in recent times.
Known for his emotionally resonant writing and distinctive storytelling, Atluri is expected to deliver yet another memorable cinematic experience. The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast, featuring the acclaimed Radhika Sarathkumar, Bollywood star Raveena Tandon, and rising star Mamitha Baiju, alongside a host of other talented actors, promising a rich and layered narrative.
The film has completed its shooting schedule. The team is now in post-production and gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release this July. To whet the audience’s appetite, the makers have confirmed that the film’s teaser will be unveiled soon.
The film features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Nimish Ravi, and editing by Navin Nooli. Production design is led by Banglan, aiming to create an immersive setting.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, this Tamil-Telugu bilingual is made under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios.
With its notable cast and experienced director, Vishwanath & Sons is set for a summer theatrical release and is among the most anticipated films of the year.
