Pokiri actor Ashish Vidyarthi to perform stand-up comedy in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Indian actor Ashish Vidyarthi, widely known for his roles in Telugu films such as Pokiri and Gudumba Shankar, is set to take the stage for a stand-up comedy show titled Vitthal Kaanya on September 28 and 29, 2024, in Hyderabad.
The first performance will take place at Media Plus Auditorium, located at 5-9-322, Gun Foundry, Basheer Bagh, on Saturday, September 28. The second show is scheduled for The Comedy Theatre in Hyderabad on Sunday, September 29. Each performance promises an hour and a half of laughter and entertainment, welcoming individuals aged 16 and above.
Ashish Vidyarthi, known for his diverse roles in the Indian film industry, will share personal anecdotes and insights from his life and career. His show will candidly explore the challenges he has faced, delving into his journey from Delhi to Mumbai and beyond. Ashish Vidyarthi is a prominent actor who has worked across multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Odia, Marathi, and Bengali films. He is particularly known for his compelling antagonist and character roles. In 1995, he won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Drohkaal and has received several awards, including a Filmfare Award South, along with nominations for two Filmfare Awards.
