St. Paul’s 1966 batch marks 60 years with reunion, pledge of continued camaraderie

Hyderabad: The 1966 batch of St. Paul’s High School commemorated 60 years since graduation with a reunion held at 10.30 IST on Saturday in Hyderabad.
The Diamond Jubilee event brought together former classmates for a morning of shared memories, interaction and reflection on their journey since leaving school six decades ago.
Principal Rev. Brother Sudhakar Reddy, former teacher Krishnamurthy and alumnus K. Nityanandam, a retired Indian Police Service officer, attended the gathering.
Alumni recalled their teachers, classrooms and formative experiences that shaped their academic and professional paths. Several participants spoke about the discipline, values and camaraderie instilled during their school years.
Many of the batchmates, now in their seventies, travelled from different parts of the country to attend the reunion. Organisers said the strong turnout reflected the enduring bonds forged during their time at the institution.
The event included informal interactions, exchange of personal updates and a brief address by members of the batch, who expressed gratitude to their teachers and the school management.
Speaking on the occasion, Nityanandam said, “It was wonderful to recollect with all friends and relive memories.”
The alumni said they would continue to remain connected and explore ways to support the school’s future initiatives.
