Top Scores Rise, But Pass Rate Falls in Hyderabad SSC 2026 Results

HYDERABAD: The SSC Public Examinations 2026 results, declared on Wednesday, saw several top scores across Hyderabad even as the district recorded the lowest pass percentage.
Students across schools secured marks as high as 597 out of 600. Campuses witnessed celebrations, with sweets distributed and students gathering to share results.
Government schools featured among high scorers. L. Dhilleshwari of Mahboobia Girls High School, Gunfoundry, secured 580 marks and emerged as the second topper in Hyderabad district. Ayesha Fatima from the same school scored 575 marks.
Across the state, four students secured the top score of 597. They include Kunchala Vrithika Krishna from Khammam, Medhansh Srirama from Rangareddy, Shashank from Sangareddy and Muddayipet Madhu from Sangareddy.
Medhansh Srirama is the only student from the twin cities to reach the top score.
Private institutions report consistent high performance across schools
Narayana Schools reported several students scoring 596 marks, including Shobhita Kopparapu, Manne Chandrahas, Tumula Nischay Pranav and Kilari Lalit. The institution said 116 students scored 590 and above, with 30 students securing 591 and 40 scoring 590.
At Resonance Schools, Gadde Pragnan scored 586 out of 600 and secured full marks in Mathematics. “I used the four-day gap between exams to divide my lessons and plan my preparation,” he said.
He lost 10 marks in languages, including Telugu, Hindi and English. Pragnan said he plans to pursue engineering.
Celebrations were held on campus after the results, with students meeting teachers and classmates.
Oxford Grammar School records 93% pass rate in city
Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar, recorded a pass percentage of 93. Arun Sri Sudhamshu and Sourabh Rajpurohit emerged as top performers from the school with 91% each.
Two students scored above 90%, while 19 secured marks between 80% and 90%.
