Sridhar Babu inaugurates Baker Hughes facility in Siddipet
HYDERABAD: Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Thursday inaugurated the “Exclusive Lean Manufacturing Facility for Baker Hughes” at the Azad Centre of Excellence and Innovation Centre in the TGIIC Industrial Park at Tuniki Bollaram in Mulugu mandal of Siddipet district.
Spread over 7,600 square metres, the facility has been established within the industrial park developed by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC).
Global energy firm expands manufacturing footprint in Telangana
US-based global energy technology company Baker Hughes operates in 120 countries across segments such as oilfield services and equipment, industrial and energy technology, and technology and digital solutions.
The newly launched unit will manufacture high-precision products required for the company’s Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) division.
‘Made in Telangana’ push gains momentum with new unit
The facility is expected to generate employment for 230 highly skilled workers. Officials said the unit would strengthen the “Made in Telangana” manufacturing ecosystem and enhance its global presence.
