Spring arrives in Hyderabad: Mild mornings & hot days ahead

Hyderabad: With the end of the winter season, Hyderabad has entered the spring season as February begins. According to Telangana Weatherman (@balaji25_t), the city will experience dry weather with rising temperatures from February 1 to 12, while nights will remain comfortable and mornings slightly chilly.
The forecast for the period indicates hot daytime temperatures, with the maximum ranging between 33-35°C in Hyderabad, and a minimum between 16-19°C. “After February 13, moderately cold weather is expected at night and in the mornings, though daytime temperatures will remain warm,” said the Weatherman. However, no rainfall is expected until at least February 15.

Comparing this February to previous years, Telangana Weatherman noted that temperatures will be cooler than in 2024 but warmer than in 2021, 2022, and 2023. “It’s common for Telangana to see such temperatures in February, so don’t be surprised by the heat,” he added. While coolers won’t be needed for the next 15-20 days, a fan will still be necessary.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has forecasted partly cloudy skies for February 1, with mist or hazy conditions expected during the morning. The maximum temperature is predicted to be 33°C, with a minimum of 19°C. Light winds from the south-southeast at speeds of 4-8 km/h are also expected.
