Speeding tourist bus creates havoc near ESI metro station
Hyderabad: A major accident was averted on Saturday when a speeding private bus hit and severely damaged a car near ESI Metro Station. However, the car driver managed to escape unhurt by jumping out moments before the collision.
En route from Bellary to Hyderabad, the Go Tour Travels bus lost control near the ESI Metro Station and collided with the car. Due to its impact, the car got dragged for some distance. The car driver’s quick thinking and immediate action to jump out of his vehicle saved his life.
Locals who witnessed the incident said that they heard screams and got terrified when they noticed the speeding bus rapidly approaching them and later saw the bus dragging the car.
The car’s front portion was damaged in the accident, which subsequently caused traffic congestion in the area. Police officials quickly arrived at the scene and cleared both vehicles to restore normal traffic flow.
The police have registered a case against the bus driver and launched an investigation. No injuries were reported in the incident, and only the car was severely damaged.
