Electors who have received the Enumeration Form but have not yet submitted it have been advised to complete the process without waiting until the deadline.
Electors can contact BLOs for help with forms
The mobile number of the Booth Level Officer (BLO) concerned is printed on the Enumeration Form. Electors who need help filling the form can contact the BLO.
After the form is completed, the BLO will collect it from the elector’s residence.
Electors can alternatively submit the completed form at a designated collection centre or the office of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).
The Election Commission of India (ECI) Citizen Service Portal also provides an online facility to fill the Enumeration Form under SIR 2026. The portal currently displays options to fill the Enumeration Form and search for an elector’s name in the last SIR.
Electors who missed BLO visit can contact officer
Electors who were not at home when the BLO visited, or those who have not received an Enumeration Form, can use the ECI portal to find their BLO’s details. They can contact the BLO to obtain the form or seek assistance with its submission.
The ECI portal also provides a facility to book a call with a BLO and lists the toll-free voter helpline number as 1950.
Commission urges submission before August 10 deadline
Electors have been advised not to wait until the last day. According to the public notice, failure to submit the duly filled Enumeration Form within the stipulated period may result in the elector’s name not being included in the draft electoral roll.
