SHE teams rescue victim trapped in hotel for 20 Days in Narayanguda

Kachiguda: A distress victim who was locked in a hotel room for 20 days was rescued by SHE teams, Hyderabad commissionerate on Sunday.
Going further into details, the victim who was native of Nizamabad lured a friend who met her through social media to come to Hyderabad. Subsequently when the victim reached Hyderabad, she had been locked in a hotel room for 20 days.
The victim shared her current location via WhatsApp to her parents in Nizamabad. The parents from Bhainsa, Nizamabad District, approached SHE team with the ordeal and rushed to Hyderabad.
“In a swift response, SHE Teams tracked and located the girl in a locked hotel room at Narayanaguda, Hyderabad, where she was rescued within a short time bringing a sigh of relief. Upon rescue the victim girl embraced her parents, expressing both fear and relief,” said Hyderabad police in an official statement. Subsequently a case has been registered at Narayanguda police station.
Second case
In another case, SHE Teams received a complaint via WhatsApp from a student of the reputed culinary Academy in Hyderabad.
“She reported that she had been subjected to ongoing harassment by some of her classmates, identified as a mischief group in the academy. The group had been teasing her and making inappropriate gestures, vulgar comments for a long period causing her mental distress. Upon receiving the complaint, SHE Teams made an inquiry into the matter. After a thorough investigation, a criminal case was registered against the culprits at Panjagutta Police Station,” said Hyderabad police.
In addition to taking legal action against culprits, SHE Teams also issued a strict warning to the college administration, and requested preventive measures to ensure the safety of their students.
