Hanamkonda teachers injured in Shayampet road accident
Hanamkonda : Ten teachers were injured after the autorickshaw they were travelling in collided with a tractor near Mandaripet Stage in Shayampet mandal.
Teachers were heading to Mahadevpur school
According to local residents, the 10 teachers were travelling from Hanamkonda in an autorickshaw to attend duty at a primary school in Mahadevpur.
The autorickshaw collided with a tractor that was heading to a petrol pump near Mandaripet Stage to get diesel.
Locals rescue teacher trapped in autorickshaw
Nine teachers suffered minor injuries, while autorickshaw driver Venu was seriously injured in the accident.
One of the teachers, Ramachandra Murthy, was trapped inside the autorickshaw. Local residents rescued him after an hour-long effort.
Residents shifted Venu and Ramachandra Murthy to hospital in a 108 ambulance.
