HYDERABAD: A mobile phone battery exploded inside a passenger’s bag at Shamshabad airport, triggering panic among travellers.

The incident occurred when Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel were inspecting luggage of a passenger bound for Raipur.
The battery exploded suddenly during the security check. No injuries were reported in the incident.
