Seven Bangladeshi nationals held in Jeedimetla, shifted to deportation centre

HYDERABAD: Jeedimetla police arrested seven Bangladeshi nationals during inspections at a rented house in HAL Colony, Gajularamaram.
Police said the seven were unable to produce valid passports, visas or other documents required for legal stay in India. Preliminary investigations revealed that they had entered the country illegally and were residing in different localities without authorisation.
Officials said the accused were taken into custody during the verification drive conducted in the area. Further inquiries are underway to ascertain the circumstances of their entry and stay in the country.
Shifted to Jogipet deportation centre
The seven nationals have been shifted to the deportation centre at Jogipet in Medak district for further legal and administrative action, police said.
