Traffic Diversions In Serilingampally Zone From April 24 For Box Drain Construction

Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions will be in place in parts of the Serilingampally Zone starting April 24, 2025, due to ongoing construction of an RCC box drain from Gaffar Nagar (Nectar Garden) junction to Durgam Cheruvu entry plaza. The project, undertaken by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), is expected to cause traffic congestion in the area until completion.

To ease traffic flow, Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory outlining affected routes and alternate options for commuters.

Affected Routes and Timings:

1. COD Junction to I-Lab and ITC Kohenur via Nectar Garden

From 4:00 p.m. onwards, commuters are advised to avoid this route and instead take Road No. 45 via the Cable Bridge or other available alternatives.

2. IKEA and Inorbit Mall to COD via Nectar Garden

Between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., motorists are advised to use Road No. 45 – Cable Bridge or alternate routes such as C-Gate – Gowra – AVASA.

Heavy vehicle movement through these routes is strictly prohibited during daytime hours to prevent further congestion. Traffic will be regulated across the Madhapur Division to maintain flow.

Authorities have urged the public to plan their travel in advance and cooperate with traffic personnel during this period.
