Secunderabad police review Ujjaini Mahakali Bonalu arrangements
HYDERABAD: Preparations for the Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Bonalu Jatara-2026 were reviewed at a coordination meeting held at the Vishwakarma Function Hall under the jurisdiction of Mahakali Police Station in Secunderabad.
Security and logistics discussed
The meeting was chaired by Secunderabad Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rakshitha Krishna Murthy. Officials discussed security measures, crowd management and other arrangements required to ensure the Bonalu festival is conducted peacefully and on a grand scale.
Officials asked to work in coordination
The DCP directed officials from all departments to work in close coordination to ensure the success of the festival. She also instructed them to complete all assigned works within the stipulated time.
Additional DCP J. Narsaiah, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sridhar, Mahakali Police Station Inspector S. Ravikumar, officials from various departments, members of the Ujjaini Mahakali Temple Committee, organisers and other festival committee members attended the meeting.
