Family awaits breakthrough in police investigation
A five-year-old boy who went missing from Secunderabad Railway Station has remained untraced 11 days after his disappearance, leaving his family anxious and seeking swift action from the police.
Rapu Rajeshwari, a resident of Uppal’s Chilakanagar area, lives with her five-year-old son Nikhil and her mother, Swaroopa. According to the family, Swaroopa left home with her grandson on June 20 following a family dispute and reached Secunderabad Railway Station.
CCTV shows unidentified person taking boy away
While resting on Platform No. 1, Nikhil went missing. Swaroopa later returned home and informed Rajeshwari about the incident.
The family lodged a complaint with the police on June 21. Police registered a case and began an investigation. CCTV footage reportedly showed an unidentified person taking the child away from the railway station.
Family appeals for speedy rescue
Despite the investigation, the boy has not been traced even after 11 days. Family members have expressed concern over the delay and urged the police to intensify efforts to locate Nikhil at the earliest.
