CCS takes over Secunderabad fake Aadhaar cards scam, Major network unveiled
Hyderabad: Central Crime Station (CCS) takes over the Fake Aadhaar Cards case busted in Secunderabad by Mahankali police. The Hyderabad police investigation revealed a complex network potentially involving multiple government departments, including the Unique Identification Authority of India, Election Commission, and Ministry of External Affairs.
With credible information, Mahankali Police conducted a raid on RS Online Services in Srinath Commercial Complex, uncovering a large-scale fake document manufacturing operation. Six individuals were arrested for creating counterfeit Voter IDs, Aadhaar Cards, PAN Cards, and Birth Certificates.
The arrested individuals were identified as Yelgam Raj Kumar, Md Mahaboob, Bandi Shankar, Giriraju Anil Kumar, Rachamalla Vijayalaxmi, and Boda Roja. They represent various occupations, including business operators, computer operators, and Aadhaar enrollment agents.

“During the raid, they gave evasive replies. When questioned, they admitted their involvement in creating fake Voter IDs, Aadhaar Cards, PAN Cards, Birth Certificates, and other security documents,” said Hyderabad police.
After receiving credible information about illegal document production, Sub-Inspector of police, Paradeshi John, Mahankali police station led the operation. The raid was conducted with the support of two revenue inspectors from the Tahsildar’s office who served as mediators.
During the raid, police seized items including pre-printed Voter ID cards, Aadhaar cards, Birth Certificates, computers, rubber stamps, printers, and related materials.
The investigation revealed a complex network potentially involving multiple government departments, including the Unique Identification Authority of India, Election Commission, Ministry of External Affairs, Income Tax Department, GHMC, Revenue Department, Medical Department, and Education Department.
Due to the case’s complexity and multi-departmental nature, the Mahankali Police registered a case and transferred the investigation to the CCS, DD Hyderabad for a specialized probe. The case has been registered under relevant BNS sections and further investigation is underway.
