South Central Railway announces Summer special trains, including Charlapalli-Srikakulam route
Hyderabad: To manage the increased passenger rush during the Summer season, South Central Railway has announced the operation of special trains between various destinations. These services will help accommodate the surge in travelers between April and June 2025.
Special train number 07025 will run from Charlapalli to Srikakulam Rd every Friday from April 11 to June 27, 2025, with 12 services scheduled. On the following day, Saturday, train number 07026 will operate from Srikakulam Rd to Charlapalli, running from April 12, to June 28, 2025, also with 12 services.
Additionally, train number 07121 will operate between Tirupati and Machilipatnam every Sunday from April 13 to May 25, 2025, with 7 services scheduled. The return service, train number 07122, will run from Machilipatnam to Tirupati every Monday from April 14 to May 26, 2025, with 7 services.
The Charlapalli-Srikakulam Rd-Charlapalli special trains (07025/07026) will make stops at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Yelamanchili, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, and Chipurupalli stations in both directions. These trains will have a mix of 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper, and General Second Class coaches to cater to different passenger needs.
The Tirupati-Machilipatnam-Tirupati special trains (07121/07122) will stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Gudivada, and Pedana stations in both directions. These trains will offer 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper, and General Second Class coaches.
In addition to these services, South Central Railway is also extending some special trains for passengers traveling to and from other destinations. Train number 07637 will operate between Tirupati and Sainagar Shirdi every Sunday from April 13 to June 29, 2025, with 12 services scheduled.
Train number 07638 will run from Sainagar Shirdi to Tirupati every Monday from April 14 to June 30 2025, also with 12 services. Train numbers 07197 and 07198 will run between Kazipet and Dadar on Saturdays and Sundays, respectively, from April 12 to June 29, 2025, with 12 services each.
Additionally, trains 07651 and 07652 will run between Jalna and Chhapra on Wednesdays and Fridays, respectively, from April 16 to June 27, 2025, with 11 services scheduled for each direction.
Passengers are advised to check train schedules and make bookings in advance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience during the summer season.
