Ssc Final Exam

Hyderabad: The School Education Department of Telangana has announced key changes for the conduct of the SSC examinations. From removing the weightage to the internal examinations to the introduction of answer sheets, key changes were introduced for the academic year 2024-2025.

Earlier, the SSC students used to have 20 percent marks in their internal assessment while 80 percent in the external examinations. However, now it remains changed, as the complete weightage is now allotted to the external examinations.

In an official communication dated November 28, 2024 issued by the Government of Telangana’s School Education Department, it is said that “Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord permission to the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad to follow the new pattern for SSC Public Examinations by awarding Marks system, duly dispensing the existing grading system and also awarding of 100 percent marks to the external assessments without any marks for internal assessments from the Academic Year 2024-2025 onwards.”

Changes in the answer sheets

Further, the Telangana government is also set to introduce a new pattern in terms of issuing answer sheets. In the existing format, the students would get a Main Answer sheet consisting of four pages and additional answer sheets of four pages and a graph sheet for the required.

However now the same would be changed as the government set to introduce Single Answer Booklets consisting of 24 pages for five subjects and 12 pages each for Physical Science and Biological science for SSC public examinations from March 2025 onwards in the Telangana state.

In the official order, it is said that “All the DEO’s are requested to communicate the above newly introduced procedure to all the Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters/Principals of all the High Schools in the district with a request to inform all the High Schools in the district with a request to inform all the SSC Students.”
