SC orders Prabhakar Rao to surrender tomorrow

DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the main accused in the phone-tapping case, T Prabhakar Rao, to surrender before the Special Investigation Team by 11am on Friday for further custodial interrogation.
Court bars coercive steps during questioning
The bench said investigators must not take any coercive measures against him during custody. It also made it clear that no physical torture should be used during interrogation.
Medication and home food allowed
The court permitted Rao to receive prescribed medication and home-cooked food while in custody.
