Sabitha Indra Reddy demands Revanth apology over MLA attack

HYDERABAD: Former minister and BRS MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy on Monday said the alleged attack on her and party MLA Sunitha Laxma Reddy at the Assembly premises was not just an insult to them but to women across the state.
“Whatever happened to our leader Sunitha Laxma Reddy and me is not just an insult to us. It is an insult to the entire women’s community,” Sabitha said.
Sabitha questions women’s safety in Telangana
“Forget about making women millionaires. If women legislators themselves have no protection, what safety can ordinary women in the state expect?” she asked.
Sabitha demanded that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy take responsibility for the alleged attack on women MLAs at the Assembly premises and tender an unconditional apology.
“We demand that Revanth Reddy take responsibility for the attack on women MLAs at the Assembly premises today and tender an unconditional apology,” she said.
