R. S. Praveen Kumar wife’s transfer triggers political row

Hydearabad : The transfer of the wife of BRS leader and former IPS officer R. S. Praveen Kumar has sparked a political controversy, with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi alleging that the state government is targeting his family out of political vendetta.
Harish Rao questions government’s decision
The Telangana government on Wednesday transferred Praveen Kumar’s wife from the Marketing Department. BRS leaders alleged that the move was intended to harass the former IPS officer and his family.
Former minister T. Harish Rao said the transfer violated the norm of not shifting employees who are due to retire within a year. He alleged that she had been posted to a department where salaries were not being paid.
Harish Rao also questioned the government, asking whether the previous BRS government had ever treated the wife of Minister D. Sridhar Babu in a similar manner.
