Hyderabad: Due to significant rapid growth in Hyderabad, clean air is increasingly becoming a luxury in urban areas. With frequent disruptions in drinking water supply in the city, people have already become accustomed to purchasing drinking water.

As air pollution is slowly becoming a reality, some now worry that buying pure oxygen might become inevitable in the future.

Considering the rising awareness of wellness among the people, ROS Medical Fitness Center has launched Hyderabad’s first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) treatment chamber at Jubilee Hills.

HBOT is a product of ‘Make in India’ initiative which is revolutionising health recovery and anti-aging solutions.

In Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, which is a non-invasive therapy, people breathe 100 per cent pure oxygen in a pressurised chamber. The therapy enhances oxygen absorption, accelerates healing, and boosts overall well-being of the people.

“Breathing 100 percent pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber significantly improves cellular repair, reduces inflammation, and strengthens immunity,” said Syed Khaleel, Physical Therapist, ROS Medical Fitness.

Physical therapists emphasise that these oxygen chambers offer several health benefits, particularly for those struggling with respiratory issues or fatigue caused by pollution. Each session of breathing pure oxygen for half-an hour is priced at Rs. 5,000.

According to ROS Medical Fitness, oxygen therapy in hyperbaric chambers has proved effective for several medical conditions including accelerated healing among chronic non-healing wounds like diabetic foot ulcers, carbon monoxide poisoning. It is also highly effective in the treatment as an adjunct in gangrene and infections, neurological wellness etc.

It further said that the therapy has also proved to be beneficial in anti-aging and skin rejuvenation and treating chronic fatigue through energy boost by increasing oxygen delivery.

“With proven benefits for neurological wellness, metabolic health, and lifestyle recovery, HBOT is a game-changer in modern wellness,” Khaleel added.
