Road collapse in Goshamahal causes panic among locals
Goshamahal: The road along the nala near Chaknavadi in Goshamahal collapsed unexpectedly early on Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, causing panic among locals and commuters. The incident took place around 2 a.m. in front of plywood shops, on the road leading to Darussalam and Chaknavadi.
According to the reports, Officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are investigating the cause of the collapse.
Residents expressed concern, noting that this was not an isolated incident. A similar collapse of a sewerage nala had occurred approximately 200 meters away from the present collapse location.
A large crowd gathered at the scene, and police were deployed to manage the situation. Authorities are working to restore the affected road section as quickly as possible.
This incident comes amid a pattern of similar occurrences throughout Hyderabad city, prompting concerns about the city’s infrastructure.
