Kantara completes 4 years: What Rishab Shetty said in his emotional note
HYDERABAD: Actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty marked four years of Kantara by thanking the film’s team and audiences for its success and global reach.
In a social media post, Shetty looked back at the film’s journey since it reached the big screen. He said awards and appreciation followed from different quarters. However, the audience’s love remained unmatched.
“It was never just a film I made. It was a world I lived in, a story I carried within me, and a faith that shaped me,” Shetty said.
He thanked everyone who worked on the film. He said their hard work, faith and love helped make Kantara bigger than he had imagined.
Shetty also thanked viewers who took the film beyond India. He said their support helped showcase Kannada cinema to audiences around the world.
“Four years later, the love still feels just as overwhelming,” he said. Shetty added that he remained grateful to everyone who believed in and celebrated the film.
