Revanth Reddy launches ₹83-crore drinking water project, HAM road works in Nalgonda
HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Nalgonda district on Sunday and launched a series of infrastructure projects aimed at improving drinking water supply and road connectivity.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the first phase of the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation drinking water project. The project includes the construction of a water treatment plant at an estimated cost of ₹83 crore.
Later, Revanth Reddy addressed a public meeting at Nagarjuna Degree College in Nalgonda, where he spoke to residents and party workers on the state’s development initiatives.
HAM road works launched
As part of the district tour, the Chief Minister also inaugurated works related to several development projects. The state government formally launched the construction of roads under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) from Nalgonda district.
The foundation ceremony for the HAM road project was held at Kanagal, where Revanth Reddy unveiled the project’s pylon, marking the commencement of the road development programme.
Ministers, officials attend programme
State Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, along with public representatives and senior officials, participated in the events.
The projects are expected to strengthen drinking water infrastructure and improve road connectivity, contributing to the district’s overall development.
