BRS alleges Quid pro quo between CM Revanth Reddy and KLSR Infratech
HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Manne Krishank accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of involvement in a multi-crore quid pro quo with an Andhra Pradesh-based construction company during a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Monday.
The allegations center on KLSR Infratech, a company based in Nellore. Krishank stated that while Revanth Reddy was Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president, the company gifted him a Land Cruiser. “Later, the car was registered in the name of Revanth’s brother, Kondal Reddy,” said Krishank.
Lucrative contracts
Krishank alleged that after the car was gifted, KLSR Infratech received lucrative contracts. “Revanth is awarding KLSR Infra contracts worth crores. He has already given KLSR Infra Rs 1500 crore in contracts,” Krishank said.
Further, Krishank cited official documents and legal cases to support his claims. He noted that a Right to Information (RTI) reply confirmed no cases were registered against KLSR Infratech between 2014 and 2025. He added, “Two days ago, a petition was accepted for hearing in the Supreme Court against KLSR Infra.” The company now faces allegations regarding its financial stability and bankruptcy.
The BRS leader questioned the silence of investigative agencies. He told the media, “The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had in the past labeled Revanth Reddy as a benami of KLSR. I don’t know why even the ED is silent now.”
Krishank further questioned how contracts for Revanth Reddy’s pet project, ‘Young India Integrated Schools,’ were also awarded to KLSR, as disclosed on the company’s website.
