Revanth calls for protests seeking KCR’s resignation
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has called on Congress leaders to organise protests demanding the resignation of Leader of Opposition K Chandrashekar Rao.
Congress leaders asked to hold rallies across Telangana
Reddy called for rallies and protest demonstrations in every mandal, alleging that Rao had neither responded to nor spoken about public issues even after 1,000 days.
He asked every Congress leader to organise the programmes as part of the 1,000-day milestone of the Congress government.
Six-day campaign to culminate in Indira Park
Reddy also asked party leaders to organise a public meeting at Indira Park in Hyderabad and demand Rao’s resignation.
He called for the campaign to begin across Telangana from September 1, with rallies in mandal and district headquarters. The programmes should culminate in a public meeting at Indira Park after six days, he said.
