Revanth Reddy launches ₹1,674 crore projects
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday launched and laid foundation stones for development works worth ₹1,674.74 crore under the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC).
The projects cover transport infrastructure, civic facilities and education initiatives across key growth corridors in the western part of the city.
Major infrastructure works announced
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation headquarters, to be built at a cost of ₹161 crore.
A ₹530 crore flyover at Miyapur junction and a ₹308 crore railway overbridge (ROB) at Serilingampally were also announced.
He inaugurated the Bachupally flyover, constructed at a cost of ₹65.53 crore.
Road and connectivity projects prioritised
Foundation stones were laid for a ₹229 crore project to construct a major bridge along service roads on both sides of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and to develop new service roads.
A ₹110 crore pipeline road from Shankarpally Road (MGIT) to Manikonda was also approved.
The government will build four-lane approach ramps near Kollur interchange up to two railway overbridges at a cost of ₹29.25 crore.
A ₹26.50 crore project to widen the main carriageway on the left side of the ORR from Nanakramguda to Gachibowli was also launched.
Education and social infrastructure included
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a Young India Integrated School to be built at a cost of ₹200 crore.
He also announced ₹14.40 crore for constructing working women’s hostels in Madhapur and Nanakramguda.
