During a review at the Assembly premises, the chief minister focused on developing major temples and ghats along the Godavari at Basara and Bhadrachalam. He also formed a technical committee of engineers to design and develop Pushkar ghats.

After officials gave a presentation, he asked them to conduct a field visit. He directed them to submit a report within 15 to 20 days. He said officials must include detailed cost estimates in the report. He added that a Cabinet sub-committee will review the report before taking a final decision.

Focus on infrastructure, connectivity, and temple expansion

The chief minister stressed that officials must complete both permanent and temporary works on time. He instructed them to expand ghats at major temples and tourist locations as part of the Pushkaram arrangements.

He also reviewed plans to improve road networks and strengthen connectivity between temples along the river stretch. Officials presented proposals to expand the Basara Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple.
