Revanth Reddy to open Bam Rukn-ud-Daula Lake
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the historic Bam Rukn-ud-Daula Lake on Sunday, September 8, at 7.30 pm.
The chief minister will also inaugurate Nallacheruvu in Kukatpally on September 9.
HYDRAA chief reviews preparations
Ahead of the programme, Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) commissioner A V Ranganath visited Bam Rukn-ud-Daula Lake on Thursday and reviewed arrangements.
He inspected the lake beautification works and examined the bund and surrounding areas where medicinal plants have been planted.
Facilities developed along lake bund
The commissioner also inspected play areas for children and gazebos built along the lake bund for visitors of all age groups.
Officials showed him the main entrance designed to reflect Old City traditions and information boards explaining the history of the lake.
Ranganath also reviewed arrangements for the public meeting scheduled after the inauguration.
HYDRAA additional commissioner R Sudarshan, additional director Varla Papaiah, and police officials accompanied him during the inspection.
