Residents of Golden City, Hyderabad, urge HMWSSB to resolve water timing issues

Hyderabad: Residents of Golden City, Pillar No. 248, Shivarampalli, Hyderabad, are facing significant inconvenience due to irregular municipal water supply timings. The issue, which has persisted for over 15 days, is proving especially problematic during the ongoing Ramzan season.
Patel, a local resident, spoke to Hyderabad Mail, highlighting the difficulties caused by the unpredictable water supply. “The municipal water is being released at odd hours, causing a lot of inconvenience, particularly during Ramzan,” he said.
Despite raising the issue with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) multiple times, Patel mentioned that no resolution has been provided.
Taking to social media, Patel posted about the issue on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), tagging HMWSSB. His post read, “Hey @HMWSSBOnline, municipal water is being released in our locality at odd timings, causing huge inconvenience to the residents. Please regulate it as soon as possible. Location: Golden City, Pillar No. 248.”
In response, HMWSSB acknowledged the issue and directed their team to follow up. The board tagged the SULEMAN NAGAR section manager in the post for further action.
However, the issue remains unresolved. Patel later posted again, urging HMWSSB to address the ongoing problem. “The issue is still not resolved, and it continues to cause inconvenience to residents of Golden City and Diamond City. Please address it soon,” he said.
