HYDERABAD: Rein Bazar Police Crack Murder Case, Arrest Six Accused in Junaid Killing

HYDERABAD: Rein Bazar police on December 10, 2025 said they arrested six men allegedly involved in the murder of Shaik Junaid Bin Mohammed Bharmos, 35, who was stabbed to death at Chotapool, Yakuthpura, earlier this month. Six others named in the case remain absconding.
Police said the case (Cr.No.192/2025) was registered under Sections 103 read with 3(5), 308(4), 61(2), 189(4), 49 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 4 read with 27(1) of the Arms Act.

Acting on credible information, the police apprehended A2 Ali Bin Hamza Al Jabri, A3 Faisal Bin Habeeb Mohammed, A6 Mohammed Maqsood Ali, A7 Syed Asghar Ali and A8 Mohammed Taher.
Later, A1 Omer Bin Hamza Al Jabri was detained near Dabirpura Darwaja, Mirchowk.
Police said all of them were part of an alleged conspiracy to eliminate Junaid. During questioning, investigators said the accused disclosed they had unlawfully assembled with knives to attack the victim.
Victim had earlier disputes with key accused over property dealings
According to police, Junaid, who worked at a rice shop at Chunneki Batti, Yakuthpura, had long-standing disputes with A1 and A2 over real-estate commissions. A4, A5 and A12 also had earlier family disputes with him.
Police said the rivalry escalated in recent months. When a friend of Junaid, Farooq, purchased a property at Chandra Nagar, the accused allegedly sought to collect commission from the deal. Junaid reportedly objected, which police said intensified the hostility.
