Real estate businessman kills himself amid financial dispute

A real estate businessman, Chemmala Balavardhan Reddy(36) took his own life amidst a financial dispute and alleged harassment reportedly from Gaddiannaram division corporator Baddam Prem Maheshwar Reddy. His wife accused another woman in her husband’s death. Based on her complaint Nagole police have registered a case.

The deceased was residing in Nagole, Srinivasa colony, engaging in real estate business. Reddy survived by his wife Anjali, son and a daughter, was reportedly facing financial difficulties. He had financial liabilities with a lady named Bhagya. In this matter corporator allegedly pressured Reddy to repay the debts, prompting him to take his own life.

Last month 30, some persons came onto his house for the same issue. Because of the trouble they caused, his wife went to her relatives’ house along with their children. On Sunday morning Bhagya came to Balavardhan Reddy’s house with some persons regarding the financial dispute she has been having with him. After this incident, on the same day afternoon, Anjali tried to contact his husband, But she was unable to reach him. Upon reaching home, locals found that he had taken his own life by hanging.

On this issue, Nagole police have registered a case against Baddam Prem Maheshwar Reddy and two others based on his wife’s allegations and a note found at the incident. Besides this Maheshwar Reddy was arrested back in 2022 in a kidnapping case.
