HYDERABAD: Ravindra Bharathi has introduced an online hall booking system, enabling organisers to reserve the venue without visiting the office.

Minister Jupally Krishna Rao launched the Cultural Department’s official website at Ravindra Bharathi in Gun Foundry on Friday.

Online access to booking details

Addressing the gathering, Jupally said adopting digital systems would enhance transparency and efficiency in the booking process. Organisers can log on to the website, check whether their preferred date is available and complete the reservation process online.

He said the new system would reduce delays and eliminate the need for repeated visits to the office for enquiries.

Instant confirmation after payment

If the hall is available on the selected date, users can proceed with online payment. Once the payment is completed, the booking will be confirmed immediately in the organiser’s name.

Officials said the system would help maintain clear records of reservations and ensure a streamlined process for cultural events, seminars and public programmes hosted at the venue.

Organisers can book slots up to 90 days in advance, according to the minister.
