Ranga Reddy District gears up for comprehensive family survey
Gachibowli: Ranga Reddy District is ready for the comprehensive family survey. District Collector C Narayana Reddy emphasized the importance of the public providing accurate information to the enumerators during the survey, which is set to commence from Wednesday. Narayana Reddy held a conference at the Integrated District Offices Complex, outlining the survey details.
Speaking on the occasion Collector Narayana Reddy urged all public representatives, regardless of political affiliations, to cooperate in completing the social, economic, educational, and political survey.
Further, Narayana Reddy noted that enumerators have been tasked with carefully collecting details at the ward, village, and block levels, and registering the information in the prescribed format.
The survey will unfold in two stages. For the first three days, enumerators will collect the list of houses in the respective blocks. Over the next 15 days, they will visit each household and gather family details as per the provided format. Upon completion, a sticker will be affixed to the house.
5,344 enumerators deployed for door-to-door survey in the district
“The district has appointed 5,344 enumerators, excluding municipal areas, with a supervisor for every 10 enumerators. Additionally, a district-level special officer and a survey monitoring core committee have been established to oversee the process,” said Narayana Reddy.
The Collector emphasized that the survey is set to cover around 6,57,000 families across the district, focusing on gathering information about the family’s status and the government schemes they are availing. He assured the public that there is no need for any misconceptions regarding the government’s intent behind the survey.
The comprehensive family survey is a significant initiative by the Ranga Reddy District Administration to collect detailed data on household socioeconomic status, aiming to enhance government welfare schemes and services.
