Investigators said Madhu allegedly collected crores of rupees from investors, promising returns through real estate and investment schemes.
Mangli denies links, lodges complaint
Allegations surfaced that singer Mangli was backing Madhu. However, Mangli denied any association and filed a complaint with Additional Director General of Police Mahesh Bhagath.
She said her name was misused to cheat people and expressed concern over the false claims.
Accused releases video; police step up search
Madhu released a video stating that Mangli has no connection with the case. Meanwhile, police have intensified efforts to trace and arrest the absconding accused.
