Man kidnapped from Ramanthapur apartment

HYDERABAD: A man was allegedly kidnapped from Ramanthapur in the early hours of Thursday, with the incident coming to light on Saturday.
Poorna Chandra Rao, who lives in Janapriya Apartments in Ramanthapur, works as a purchasing manager at a pub in Madhapur.
Around 1am on Thursday, an unidentified person arrived on a two-wheeler and asked him to come outside to talk. When Rao stepped out, a few others who were waiting on the road outside the apartment allegedly forced him into a car and drove away.
His wife, Lakshmi Durga, lodged a complaint at the Uppal police station on Friday, stating that she did not know why he was taken or where he had been taken. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
