Ramakrishna Rao reviews preparations for Telangana Rising Global Summit

HYDERABAD: Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao held a high-level review with senior officials from all departments to assess preparations for the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Future City in Mucharla.
Summit to unveil state’s long-term vision
Ramakrishna Rao outlined the Chief Minister’s vision for the summit, calling it a major platform to showcase the state’s progress and present the Telangana Vision Document. The document will outline development priorities for the coming years.
He said the two-day event will highlight the government’s achievements and spell out its roadmap for the next three years and beyond.
Targets set for 2035 and 2047
The Chief Secretary said the Vision Document will be the summit’s central feature, adding that it aims to brief global stakeholders on Telangana’s growth trajectory. The state plans to reach a USD 1 trillion economy by 2035 and expand to USD 3 trillion by 2047. He described these goals as ambitious but achievable, and called for coordinated efforts across all departments.
Officials asked to ensure flawless execution
He urged departments to use the summit to showcase ongoing programmes, innovations and future strategies. All wings were instructed to work in close coordination and complete assigned tasks within deadlines. “This is a major opportunity to demonstrate the state’s capabilities and commitment to inclusive and sustainable growth. All works must be completed within the prescribed timelines,” he said.
1,300 delegates to attend
More than 1,300 delegates from industry, information technology, global investment firms, diplomatic missions, sports, cinema, real estate, infrastructure, and multilateral institutions are expected to attend. Senior representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, National Association of Software and Service Companies and Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, along with public sector bank chiefs, will join the event.
70 thematic stalls planned
The venue will feature 70 thematic stalls with audio-visual exhibits, graphical displays and animated presentations on Telangana’s development path and emerging opportunities.
Ramakrishna Rao asked officials to ensure that the summit reflects Telangana’s spirit of innovation and forward momentum, stressing the need for meticulous planning, inter-departmental collaboration and adherence to timelines.
Special Chief Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan, Vikas Raj and Sabyasachi Ghosh, along with Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and senior officials, attended the meeting.
