Rajendranagar Police Nab 2 in House Burglary

Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police arrested two individuals on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in connection with a house burglary case. The accused reportedly gained entry into the complainant’s house by breaking open the main door lock and stealing valuables.

According to the police report, on August 18, 2024, the complainant left for Nagarkurnool to attend a wedding ceremony. Upon returning home on August 19, 2024, at around 6:30 p.m., he discovered the main door and almirah locks broken. He also noticed that 6 tulas of gold ornaments, 16 tulas of silver anklets, and Rs. 2,40,000 in cash were stolen.

The police investigation revealed that the accused, identified as CCL-1 and CCL-2, arrived in an auto rickshaw along with another individual, Syed Khaja Ali (23), son of the late Syed Dastagir Hussain. Syed Khaja Ali is currently absconding along with the stolen case property.

The police team from Cyber Crime Station (CCS) Rajendranagar and Rajendranagar Police Station, under the direct supervision of ACP Rajendranagar, successfully apprehended CCL-1 and CCL-2. They are being produced before the probationary officer.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, acknowledged and appreciated the team’s swift action in solving the case. Efforts are underway to apprehend the absconding accused, Syed Khaja Ali, and recover the stolen property.
