Hyderabad: Four burglars nabbed by Rajendranagar police
Hyderabad: Rajendranagar police arrested four notorious thieves and a receiver on Wednesday. The police officials have recovered about 600 grams of gold and diamond ornaments and a bike from them whose combined worth is Rs. 35 lakhs. The accused persons were involved in various burglary cases.
The arrested persons are identified as Gunjapogu Sudhakar alias Salman (33) of Mehdipatnam, Bandari Samson alias Lucky (22) from Kakulavaram village in Gadwal, Shanidev Salunke alias Sunny (20) from Kothur town in Ranga Reddy district, Amarjeet Singh alias Amar (31) from Tarn Taran district in Punjab and Gunjapogu Suresh alias Surya (30) of Mehdipatnam.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint operation was executed under the supervision and guidance of Ch. Srinivas, DCP, Rajendranagar and K.Narsimha, DCP(Crimes) which led to the apprehension of the suspects. The accused persons are involved in five cases of burglaries in various police station limits, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Rajendranagar zone said.
