Two rowdy-sheeters banished from Hyderabad, a first for Rachakonda Police

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police have banished two rowdy-sheeters from Hyderabad city limits due to their criminal activities. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu issued the externment order against Surender and Mental Rajesh for their involvement in serious crimes including instilling fear among people with murder, robberies, and rapes.
The externment order, issued to maintain law and order, prohibits them from staying within the jurisdiction of the city police until further orders. Officials stated that this is the first time criminals have been banished from the city since the formation of the Rachakonda Commissionerate.
“According to Section 26(1) of the City Police Act, the Commissioner has the authority to banish individuals who repeatedly commit serious crimes and disturb public peace and safety. Based on this, we are issuing an externment order against Surender alias Suri alias Mohin and Rajesh alias Mental Rajesh, both residents of Meerpet. If they are found within the Commissionerate limits, strict legal action will be taken against them,” Commissioner Sudheer Babu said on Saturday.
33-year-old Nalaparaju Rajesh alias Mental Rajesh, a native of Nalgonda district, has a total of 19 cases registered against him, including five murder cases, one of which is a double murder. He is also facing cases related to attempted murder, assault, and robbery.
Mental Rajesh has been listed as a rowdy-sheeter at the Nalgonda II Town police station. He did not mend his ways despite the police department invoking the Preventive Detention (PD) Act against him twice. Recently, he returned to LB Nagar to form a local gang and resumed his criminal activities.
Surender alias Suri alias Mohin (35), a resident of Jalpally, was involved in a total of 45 cases, including three murder cases. He is an accused in several cases involving rape, POCSO violations, theft, and using deadly weapons. Cases have been filed against him in several police stations including LB Nagar and Chaitanyapuri.
