Rachakonda police rescue kidnapped boy from Odisha

Hyderabad: In a coordinated rescue operation, Rachakonda Police rescued a kidnapped boy from Odisha within 24 hours on Thursday.
The story began on September 29, 2024, in the small town of Lahandapali, Odisha, when a young boy was kidnapped from his mother, Padmini Maji. The boy’s father, Arjun Bemal, desperately seeking help, approached Odisha police. The police sprang into action and gathered the pieces together in an attempt to find a clue.
On October 10, 2024, when Komna Police from Odisha reached out to Rachakonda Police, seeking assistance in a child abduction. Responding swiftly to this urgent plea, Rachakonda Police Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu tasked a special team comprising members from the IT Cell, Special Operations Team (SOT), and Bommalaramaram Police of Rachakonda commissionerate.
During the course of the investigation, the Odisha Police, with technical inputs, suspected the accused to be sheltering in Rachakonda limits but couldn’t trace their exact location.
The Rachakonda Police’s IT Cell played a crucial role in narrowing down the search area. Their technical expertise indicated the kidnappers taking refuge within the Rachakonda jurisdiction, though the exact location remained elusive to the Odisha Police.
