One injured as speeding car crashes into electric pole on PVNR Expressway

HYDERABAD:Â A speeding car lost control on the PVNR Expressway near Rajendranagar and crashed into the divider before hitting an electric pole close to Pillar No. 271 on Tuesday.
Police said one person travelling in the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to traffic police, preliminary investigation suggested that overspeeding led to the mishap. The car was badly damaged in the impact.
Traffic police later used a crane to remove the vehicle from the middle of the road, ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles on the expressway.
Authorities have urged motorists to adhere to the prescribed speed limits on elevated corridors to prevent such accidents.
