In a social media post, Sindhu said it was “hard to process what’s unfolding right now” and described hearing interceptions overhead as the situation deteriorated.

Calling Dubai a city she “deeply love[s]”, Sindhu said it has always felt safe and full of life, making the present circumstances difficult to comprehend.
She thanked those who reached out to her and confirmed that she and her team are safe for now.
“I am safe right now, stuck here in Dubai with my team, and we are doing okay as the situation around the war with Iran continues to evolve. The Airport is chaotic, with many families stranded and waiting, all of us just hoping we get past this soon,” she said.
Sindhu added that such moments highlight how fragile normal life can be and said she was praying for safety and peace for everyone affected.
