HYDERABAD: Badminton ace and two-time Olympic medallist P. V. Sindhu has found a fresh source of joy off the court her pet dog Milo. The world champion recently offered fans a peek into her life beyond badminton through social media posts featuring her new companion.

In one of her Facebook updates, Sindhu wrote, “Just me, Milo and a whole lot of love ❣️”, confirming that the champion shuttler has welcomed the playful dog into her home. Another festive post carried the greeting, “From mine to yours, wishing you a Happy Diwali ✨❤️  Sindhu, Datta & Milo.”

Sindhu, who generally keeps her personal life private, revealed a softer side through these posts. The companionship of Milo spelled “Milo” in one post  appears to provide comfort amid the demands of training and competition.

In earlier interviews, Sindhu spoke about how a spontaneous run with dogs in Germany helped her “re-wire” her mindset before tournaments. She said animals have become an integral part of her fitness and mental wellness routine.

As she prepares for the new badminton season, Milo has seemingly become an inseparable part of her daily calm a reminder that even top athletes need simple, grounding moments of affection.
