President’s movement triggers traffic restrictions in Gachibowli stretch
HYDERABAD: Traffic congestion is expected in parts of the Cyberabad commissionerate on December 20, 2025, between 15.00 IST and 19.00 IST, in view of the movement of the President of India.
The President will travel from Rashtrapati Nilayam to the Brahma Kumaris centre at Gachibowli, prompting traffic regulation along several arterial routes, police said.
The junctions likely to be affected include Gachibowli, IIIT and ITC Kohenur. The routes under regulation are Road No. 45 via the Cable Bridge, IKEA flyover, Orbit Road, Deloitte junction, Gachibowli junction, Indira Nagar, IIIT junction, Pullela Gopichand Academy road and the Brahma Kumaris road.
The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, advised motorists to avoid the affected routes during the specified hours and use alternative roads to reach their destinations.
Commuters have also been asked to plan their travel in advance and cooperate with the traffic police to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the President’s visit.
