From Bikshu Yadav to Raj Bihari, Pradeep Rawat leaves behind an unforgettable legacy
HYDERABAD: Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat died at the age of 74 after battling cancer. Born on January 21, 1952, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Rawat built a distinguished career across several Indian film industries. He made his Telugu film debut with Sye and went on to become one of the most recognised screen villains in Telugu cinema.
Villain roles earned lasting recognition
In Sye, Rawat portrayed Bikshu Yadav, a role that won widespread acclaim. He later played Raj Bihari in Chatrapathi and appeared in Ghajini, further strengthening his reputation for intense antagonist roles.
He was also part of several successful Telugu films, including Bhadra, Desamuduru, Stalin, Oy! and Nenu Sailaja, among many others.
