Prabhas to begin filming for his next ‘Spirit’ in May
Hyderabad: After impressing the audience with a blockbuster action drama ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, the Pan-India star Prabhas is preparing for his next film ‘Spirit’. The action thriller directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga will reportedly begin filming in May 2025.
Currently, there is not much info available regarding the movie plot etc. However, reports suggest that Prabhas is going to do a ‘sincere cop role’ in the movie. There is also talk going on that the director Sandeep is coming up with a never before seen look for the rebel star.
A little birdie tells us that the director has almost finished writing the script of the movie and working on to give a fresh look to the cop genre film while maintaining the gripping storyline to capture the hearts of audiences.
If things go as planned, the high-octane cop drama by the ‘Animal’ director is expected to hit the theatres around Christmas in 2026.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy with the shooting of his horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab’, which is slated for release in the first week of April 2025. In this film, Prabhas will be seen in a dual role as both a young and an elderly character. The Kalki star is also working on an untitled film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film is tentatively known as ‘Fauji’.
Actress Malavika Mohanan is making her Telugu debut with Prabhas-starrer “The Raja Saab”. The fans can expect a hot romantic song featuring her in the movie. The film is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Maruthii. It will also star Niddhi Agerwal as another female lead.
